Hari Korpal, P.Eng., BEP, RRO
Professional Engineer | Building Envelope Consultant
Hari Korpal is a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.), Building Envelope Professional (BEP), and Registered Roof Observer (RRO) with over 20 years of experience in building science. His expertise spans new construction, restoration, and building envelope investigations for both low-rise and high-rise buildings.
Hari is skilled in roofing and waterproofing consulting, air leakage testing, and building envelope rehabilitation. His portfolio includes projects such as the ACC-Kelowna General Hospital, UBC Parkade Building, and the Jubilee Hospital in Vernon. He is also an RCABC-approved Roofing Inspector, emphasizing quality and durability in roofing systems. Hari’s meticulous oversight and innovative designs ensure buildings meet BC Building Code (BCBC) standards, enhancing structural integrity, energy efficiency, and long-term performance.

Arjun Korpal, M.Eng., EIT, CEA
Engineer-in-Training | Building Science & Energy Modeling Specialist
Arjun is an Engineer-in-Training (EIT) with a primary focus on building science, energy modeling, and sustainable building design. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering and a Master of Engineering in Building Science from the British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT).
In his consulting role, Arjun excels in BC Energy Step Code compliance for Part 3 and Part 9 buildings, energy simulations, and whole-building performance analysis. He collaborates closely with architects, developers, and builders to implement cost-effective, energy-efficient solutions that meet or exceed regulatory standards. His skills in building physics, thermal dynamics, and air leakage testing ensure projects achieve optimal energy efficiency and durability. Arjun's commitment to continuous learning and innovation drives his contributions to improving the built environment in the Lower Mainland and beyond.

Sham Dhari, CEA
Certified Energy Advisor | Energy Modeling & Testing Specialist
Sham Dhari holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of British Columbia and brings a diverse background in engineering, research, and development. After discovering his passion for building science in 2017, he pursued certification as a Certified Energy Advisor (CEA).
Sham specializes in energy modeling, blower door testing, and ensuring compliance with the BC Energy Step Code. He works on single-family homes, multi-unit complexes, and commercial buildings, providing expert guidance on achieving energy-efficient, sustainable, and comfortable structures. His expertise includes LEED energy modeling, net-zero building consultation, and GHG emissions analysis.

Conrad V. Desrosiers, P.Eng., FEC, BEP, RRO
Senior Building Envelope Engineer | Roofing & Waterproofing Specialist
Conrad Desrosiers brings over 30 years of experience in building envelope design, restoration, and waterproofing. A Professional Engineer (P.Eng.), Fellow of Engineers Canada (FEC), Building Envelope Professional (BEP), and Registered Roof Observer (RRO), Conrad is an authority on building science and roofing systems. He co-founded the Association of Professional Engineers’ Building Envelope Task Force and served as an APEGBC Councillor, contributing to industry standards and best practices.
Conrad specializes in building envelope condition assessments, third-party warranty reviews, roofing inspections, and waterproofing solutions for commercial, residential, and institutional buildings. His dedication to quality and innovation ensures projects achieve durability, efficiency, and compliance with evolving building codes.

Joseph Shannon, AScT
Applied Science Technologist | Building Envelope Design Specialist
Joseph Shannon is an Applied Science Technologist (AScT) with over 30 years of experience in building envelope design, architectural drafting, and field reviews. He holds a Diploma in Building Technology (Architecture) from BCIT and has extensive knowledge of the BC Building Code (BCBC), Vancouver Building By-law (VBBL), and building envelope practices.
Joseph specializes in new construction, restoration, and repairs, preparing detailed specifications, design documents, and maintenance manuals. His expertise includes roofing systems, rainscreen cladding, waterproofing membranes, and air leakage testing. Through meticulous design and field inspections, Joseph ensures building envelopes perform efficiently and sustainably, enhancing durability and occupant comfort.
